Nick Shepard - Owner / President
Born with a framing hammer in his hand, Nick has worked in construction in various capacities for more than 20 years. He started his career as a laborer on home build sites and eventually worked his way up to a position as the right hand of one of Kansas City’s most premier custom home builders. As the economy cooled in the building industry he took on a position as Vice President of Operations of a $25 million per year logistics company, but construction never left him. Nick opened his remodeling company, KC Home Solutions, in 2012, and it has gone on to become one of Johnson County’s foremost remodeling experts.
In 2017, Nick founded Shepard Homes. Since that time Shepard Homes has quickly grown to be known as a company that shows attention to detail with full custom home builds of all budget ranges. Developers now routinely request the company become one of their featured builders in their new communities.
Nick and his wife are kept busy by their three amazing little girls and German shepherd.
